How model pricing works
All models are accessed through OpenRouter using your single API key. Free models cost nothing and have a limit of ~200 requests/day. Paid models (ChatGPT, Claude) charge per use from your OpenRouter credit balance — typically $0.01 per page of output.
To use paid models: go to openrouter.ai/settings/credits and add $5. That gives you hundreds of ChatGPT + Claude calls.
